Mission Statement / Charter |
- To promote communication, consideration and discussion of issues affecting the Service Based Operators Industry and its development in Hong Kong.
- To coordinate, formulate, promulgate, and where necessary, lobby or interface with Government or any appropriate party, members' address technical, regulatory and commercial concerns, and offer opinions and recommendations regarding the provision of external telecommunications services.
- To take steps to improve the status of Members of the Society and to secure recognition of their position.
To encourage and foster a spirit of friendly collaboration amongst its members and with members of the Societies of a similar nature or other professional bodies. - To accept and receive gifts or property, donations, subscriptions, subsidies, funds or bequests from any individuals, organizations, govenment or authorities concerned with the purposes of the objects of the Society.
- To raise money by public or private subscriptions or other lawful means for the purpose of the objects of the Society.
- To establish, or become a member of, or amalgamate with any other association whose objects are similar to the Objects of the Society or promotion of which may be beneficial to the Society.
- To borrow or raise money required for the purpose of the Society upon such terms including the payment of interest thereon and on such securities for the Objects of the Society.
- To engage the services of such workers, employees or agents as may be desired or needed on such terms and remuneration as the Society may think fit for the accomplishment of the Objects of the Society.
- To do and perform all such other lawful things as may be deemed incidental or conducive to the attainment of the Objects of the Socieity
