Recruitment for the Workgroup of Local Access Charge |
|
Dear Members, On December 2009, OFTA had issued a consultation paper which may change the business environment of ETS/SBO industry in Hong Kong. The topics includes - Review of Local Access Charge
- Future Arrangement of Special Condition 3.4 of the Fixed Carrier Licence Held by PCCW-HKT Telephone Limited and Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited
ETS Society is engaged with OFTA regarding to this issue, and the decision has been taken to create a workgroup to support this effort. The details of the proposed work group follows: | Name: | The Workgroup of Local Access Charge | | Objective: | Concerns on the Public Interest and Competitive situation in the ETS Industry on Local Access Charges | | Members: | 6 subcommittee members |
We are now recruiting the six (6) volunteers from the members of ETS Society and/or License holders of Public Non-Exclusive Telecom Services (PNETS) and/or Services-Based Operator (SBO) Licence to be members of the workgroup. If you are interested in participating in this workgroup, please kindly indicate your intention via email committee@ hkets. org no later than January 22, 2010 noon. Notice of Annual General Meeting |
|
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of The Society of Hong Kong External Telecommunications Service Providers (the “ETS Society”) will be held at: Thai Orchid Restaurant
39 Tong Chong Street, Quarry Bay,
Hong Kong on Thursday 11th February 2010, commencing at 6:00 pm. Notice is hereby provided of the following resolutions to be put to the annual general meeting: - Approval of the minutes of the last AGM;
- Appointment of the Auditors for The Society
- Appointment of the legal advisor for the Society
- To elect members and officers of the Executive Committee for the coming year
- Report from the members of the three committees of OFTA
- Mission and Objectives for 2010
This will be followed by the monthly ETS Happy Hour – Cocktails and snacks will be served By order of the Executive Committee
